IRISH IDOL 2007
The IRISH IDOL contest was held on the Square beginning at 11:30 a.m. the day of the Parade. Contestants were encouraged to perform songs with an Irish theme or origin. Contestants provided their own backup music. A PA system and CD player were provided. Contestants were judged on stage presence, originality, musical talent, and how much fun they were having. The contest was for AMATUERS ONLY. There was no entry fee. A $100 prize was awarded to the winner. And the 2007 results are...

Third Place: Chad Hagar - “The Wearin’ O the Green”
In addition to the cash prizes awarded to the best float, all other winners
received a trophy with the exception of the Honorable Mentions and 2nd
& 3rd Irish Idols.
